The award-winning Gaples Institute nutrition course is distinguished as the only health professional nutrition course that is now REQUIRED in nine leading U.S. medical schools (and counting)—making food as medicine a reality in physician education.

In support of the White House goal to eliminate diet-related disease, the Gaples Institute has launched a new and expanded outreach program to 100 medical schools and health professional programs, prioritizing those in underserved areas and serving historically marginalized populations.
