Medical Professionals Cook Their Way to Better Health

The Gaples Institute, together with co-sponsor Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, led a nutrition science/counseling/hands-on cooking course for physicians and nurses “Nutrition Science: From Populations to Plates”

50 physicians and nurses attended this continuing medical education program from throughout the region. They listened to formal presentations about the science of clinical nutrition, watched (and tasted) healthy food demos, and in a very unique program, all attendees made a multi-course, gourmet, vegan lunch under the direction of professional chefs.
