The Gaples Institute’s interactive public nutrition course, Nutrition for Optimal Health, was named a winner in the spring session of the 21st annual Digital Health Awards, joining such prestigious organizations as the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Up against the world’s best health education projects, the course won in the “interactive content/rich media” category.
“We’re so honored to earn this distinction,” said Dr. Stephen Devries, executive director the Gaples Institute, “and especially proud that our nonprofit has created such an important, engaging learning tool showcasing the amazing power of a healthy diet.”
The competition, organized by the Health Information Resource Center, recognizes innovative health resources from around the globe. Twenty-nine distinguished experts in digital health media served as judges, selecting the winners from more than 400 entries.
