Gaples Institute Now a Featured Education Provider on the American Medical Association AMA Ed Hub™

The nonprofit Gaples Institute is now a featured provider of continuing education on the AMA Ed Hub™—the American Medical Association’s online learning platform.

The site is a trusted source of high-quality resources that support the lifelong education, licensure, and certification needs of physicians and other medical professionals.

“We’re proud to collaborate with the AMA Ed Hub in bringing high-quality educational offerings to healthcare professionals,” said Dr. Stephen Devries, the Gaples Institute Executive Director. “Most clinicians receive very little nutrition education during their medical training. We’re filling a critical gap by helping health professionals rapidly acquire the nutrition knowledge they need to make an impact on patient health.

The Gaples Institute’s flagship offering on the AMA Ed Hub is the condensed, 4-credit interactive nutrition continuing medical education (CME) course “Nutrition Science for Health and Longevity: What Every Clinician Needs to Know.” This award-winning course has been vetted by leading nutrition educators including Dr. Walter Willett of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. In addition, the course was the focus of a published study in which learners showed “significant and sustained improvement” in nutrition knowledge.

The course has been taken by more than 2,000 clinicians and is required learning in several leading medical institutions. Over 97% of learners have said the course will change their practice.

Medicine With a Fork: A New Podcast for Clinicians
