The Gaples Institute joined leading nutrition educators, scientists, and policy experts to focus on opportunities to add requirements for nutrition education in all phases of medical training.
Dr. Devries spoke at the Harvard Club to a group of medical school educators on the topic “Medical School is Only the Beginning: The Arc of Nutrition Education in Medical Training.”
Doctors and nurses came together for an innovative hands-on continuing education conference in Chicago presented by the Gaples Institute and led by Executive Director, Dr. Stephen Devries. Participants learned nutrition science from thought leaders in medicine and immersed in hands-on preparation of healthy foods.
