Food As Medicine Network: Live 2025

Clinicians can turbocharge the effectiveness of food as medicine initiatives by helping patients recognize the potency of dietary interventions and by making strategic referrals. Nevertheless, health professionals have historically not received the nutrition education required to fully assume this role. From Garden to Table: A Unique Nutrition Conference For Personal Health: With Hands-On Cooking

This event SOLD OUT. The program for the public was focused on personal health.

We had a wonderful time together during a half-day conference where participants learned the science behind which foods are health-promoting and why.

The knowledge gained was immediately be put to good use in culinary demos where attendees learned quick and easy methods to prepare plant-based foods. Finally, all participants joined in to prepare a gourmet lunch under the expert supervision of trained chefs.

A wonderful experience, the best combination of learning about nutrition, hands-on cooking, eating, and fun!

Dr. Weil’s Nutrition and Health Conference

This annual conference led by Dr. Andrew Weil educates health practitioners on the central role of nutrition in health and healing.

Gaples Institute Executive Director Dr. Stephen Devries gave a plenary talk on “Omega-3s by Land and Sea.”
