The Gaples Institute online CME/CEU nutrition course for health professionals was shortlisted in an international e-learning contest sponsored by the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Devries, Executive Director of the Gaples Institute, and Jeanette Brooks, Director of E-Learning Experience, showcased the course at the annual Reimagine Education Conference and Awards in Philadelphia. The event draws innovators in education, academia, and e-learning from around the world.

From Garden to Table: A Unique Nutrition Conference For Personal Health: With Hands-On Cooking

This event SOLD OUT. The program for the public was focused on personal health.

We had a wonderful time together during a half-day conference where participants learned the science behind which foods are health-promoting and why.

The knowledge gained was immediately be put to good use in culinary demos where attendees learned quick and easy methods to prepare plant-based foods. Finally, all participants joined in to prepare a gourmet lunch under the expert supervision of trained chefs.

A wonderful experience, the best combination of learning about nutrition, hands-on cooking, eating, and fun!
